SpamLess is a very simple app to filter out SMS & RCS Spam messages. We collect no absolutely no information on these messages. We have no accounts. This is very intentional. No data can be traced back to you in any sort of way. Messages are never used for AI training data, never used for analytics, never stored, or viewable by any third party. It uses a closed system loop that is sent to an AI model that evaluates messages on your phone sent ONLY from unknown contacts. The messages that are filtered are only coming from SMS and RCS message protocols (any green bubble message). Any iMessage cannot be filtered or scanned for content as they are encrypted from end to end.
For the onboarding and setup parts of the app we used analytics. These are never tied to your identity, never tied to an account (because we don't have them!). These are only used to improve the product and make it better. They contain no identifiable information. We do not use analytics in the filter extension. We only keep a count of how many messages overall the filter has filtered. This is never tied to any individual using the app, and never stores anything with the content of the message.
We never delete messages. We only filter them. You can view the filtered messages at anytime in the Messages app on your phone. We have a tutorial in the app to show you how to find the filtered messages.
